What is the Mexicana A truffle: The Mexicana A and is related to the Psilocybe
Tampanensis. This one has a very interesting history.
One specimen was found in 1977 in Tampa, Florida.
All the cultures which are currently circulating are from this specimen.
It has been found only once(!) in the wild after that, in Mississippi, but no
culturable material was collected.
About the growkit: This Mexicana A growkit has been cultivated under
highly specialised conditions.
It already contains a substantial percentage of truffles.
Quantity: After 2 weeks it will produce 60 to 90 grams of fresh Tampanensis
(20 to 30 grams when dried).
Effect: The trip you get from the Mexinana A is very different from
other mushrooms, it taste a litle like nuts.
How to use the growkit:
Remove the Mexicana A grow box from the cardboard box and place
it in the dark (e.g. in a large box) at a temperature of 20 to 24 degrees Celsius
(68 to 75 F).
The grow kit can be opened whitin 2 weeks.
Remove the truffles from the white substance.
Clean the truffles with water and a towel (dont make the truffles
to wet).
Dry the truffles on a newspaper, (preferably in the sun).
Tip: The shelf life of the Tampanensis grow kit is upto 3 months on
a cold dark place, depending of the state of the growth of the truffles.
Warning: Do not use when pregnant, nursing, psychotic or depressed.
Do not use with intent do drive motorized vehicles. Do not use in combination
with medication, stimulants, alcahol, or other psygoactive substances. Not for
use in minors. Treat the mushroom with respect, be alert to your environment
and help those who take Philosopher's Stones for the first time.
