About Hibiscus Tea
Native to Africa, the Hibiscus flower produces a tea with a fruity flavour and a beautiful red colour.
The hibiscus plant contains many antioxidants, such as vitamin C, anthocyanin and beta-carotene. It has been used for a long time to fight inflammation, lower blood pressure and cholesterol, support liver health and fight off bacteria.
Usage of Hibiscus Tea
This tea can be prepared by adding one or two teaspoons of flowers in a cup of hot water and let it steep for about 15 minutes.
To sweeten the flavour, you can add honey or sugar.
For one cup, you need about 1-2 teaspoons of dried Hibiscus tea.
