About the Strain
Bali is one of the names used in the kratom trade. This red vein version is made from dried Mitragyna speciosa leaves, milled into loose powder.
Botanical Background
Sumatra and Borneo are part of the natural range of Mitragyna speciosa. Across its range, the species occurs in lowland habitats, including secondary forests and open areas.
Its flowers grow in rounded heads at the ends of side branches, often with several heads grouped together. Each head contains many small, funnel-shaped flowers whose petals change from yellowish-white to deep yellow as they develop. What looks like a single rounded bloom is therefore a cluster of individual flowers.
