This variety comes as dried leaf powder, with 20 g in each pack. It is supplied in a resealable zip bag inside a brown paper outer pouch.
About the Strain
The white vein variety completes our Malay selection alongside Green Malay and Red Malay. It is made from the leaves of Mitragyna speciosa, a tropical tree with a long botanical history in Southeast Asia.
Botanical Background
Kratom grows naturally in Borneo and the Malay Peninsula, within a wider native range extending from southern Indochina to New Guinea. Its natural habitat is the wet tropical landscape of this region.
Fresh leaves can have a firm, leathery texture and fine hairs on their underside. Slender stalks support the broad, smooth-edged leaf blades. These stalks typically measure 1–4 cm (0.4–1.6 in), connecting each leaf to the branch.
